The Behaviour 4 Learning network aims to assist training providers in the work they do with trainee teachers in the area of behaviour management. The focus of the initiative is upon developing trainee skills and insights which foster a classroom ethos of ‘behaviour for learning’.  B4L promotes a positive approach to behaviour, by emphasising the importance of teacher-pupil relationships, with a framework of rules and responsibilities.   The TTA, as a result of its own yearly surveys of NQTs has identified behaviour management as one element of teacher training that has remained a major area of concern amongst trainees.   The web-site is accessible to both tutors and their trainees, each having a dedicated menu of options.
