EAL and English GCSE grade boundaries
Evidence appears mixed on the impact on EAL students of the grade boundary changes with some schools reporting significant impacts on their EAL learners and others not. A noted difference is that some schools entered their EAL students in January to allow more time to focus on English literature. It would be good to get your views on this.
