Lampton EAL Conference

The summer conference will address issues from KS1 to KS4 and feature presentations and practical workshops focusing on:

• Exploring texts that combine sound, still and moving images as well as print.
• Building on pupils’ own experience of texts in a range of contexts, language and cultures.
• Evaluating and developing a range of strategies that enable EAL and other learners to extend their oracy and literacy skills .
• Exploring ways of developing visual literacy and critical thinking skills.
