
Come to NATE's 49th annual conference in the historic city of York!
NATE's 49th annual conference, English:The subject of discussion, will take place in the historic city of York between 29th June and 1st July, 2012.
The conference takes place at the Park Inn by Radisson hotel which is located in the heart of the city on the banks of the River Ouse. York is celebrating its 800th anniversary as a city and will be buzzing with various festival activities.

Sir Andrew Motion; Professor of Modern English Language,
Ronald Carter; award-winning author,
Meg Rosoff; Royal Shakespeare Company's Director of Education,
Jacqui O'Hanlon; and the co-founder of NATE's National Writing Project,
Simon Wrigley.
There is a choice of
20 workshops,
30 seminars, a
research strand, a publishers' exhibition as well as social events.
Prices:
Full conference with accommodation: £420 (NATE members); £495 (non-members)
Full conference without accommodation: £250 (NATE members); £350 (non-members)
Day delegate (Friday or Saturday 9am-5pm): £125 (NATE members); £175 (non-members)

There are five NATE-funded bursaries of £125 towards conference attendance for NATE
student members.
