Writing for NALDIC

How to contribute to NALDIC publications

We welcome contributions from members and other interested parties of articles relating to practice or research in EAL, book and software reviews, conference reports, accounts of EAL-related activities such as professional development workshops, campaigns and local initiatives.

NALDIC currently produces two serial publications which are issued free to members at the time of print or e-publication, NALDIC Quarterly and EAL Matters.


NQ cover

NALDIC Quarterly is the quarterly publication of the Association and features themed articles by leading practitioners and researchers, the latest news from the field, book reviews and more. Articles are typically 2 500 - 3 000 words. NALDIC Quarterly is distributed in hard copy and is also available in electronic format.

EAL Matters cover small

EAL Matters is intended to stimulate professional discussion and to contribute to the theory and practice of teaching pupils for whom English is an additional language. EAL Matters provides authors an opportunity to write more sunstantial pieces (ca. 5 000-7 000 words) for publication. NB:This publication replaces our previous Occasional Papers, Practice Papers and Working Papers series.E publication only from July 2014
