NALDIC recently launched a second national audit of EAL training and development. This audit is desperately needed to gain an up-to-date picture of the EAL training opportunities available nationwide. If you have undertaken an EAL training this year as a provider or participants, please complete our participant survey or our provider survey.
In 2008, NALDIC undertook a national audit of EAL training and development opportunities available to the school workforce on behalf of the Training and Development Agency (TDA) This national audit was published in 2009 and helped inform the TDA's 5 year EAL strategy. Much has changed in the intervening four years and NALDIC is therefore undertaking a second national audit of EAL training and development .
Commenting on the survey launch, a spokesperson for NALDIC said 'The EAL field is virtually unrecognisable from our audit of 2009. So much has changed that we need this update now. This is vitally important to influence national policy, inform training developments and support the development of high quality EAL guidance, training and professional development to the school workforce'.
Information submitted will be collected and held securely. Respondents' details will not be divulged to any other parties and all information will be anonymised. The survey will close at the end of February 2013
