NALDIC Occasional Paper 27

We are delighted to announce the online publication of NALDIC Occasional Paper 27, Home and School: Equal Partners in Primary Pupils' Learning, by Tampu Mpofu with Jean Conteh. This paper is based on a small-scale case study on parental involvement in their children’s learning, focusing on one family.

The main author, Tampu Mpofu, a primary teacher, carried out the research in her own school setting, using ethnographic research principles and an ecological theoretical framework. Contextualised in an analysis of school documents related to parental involvement, the main data are interviews with relevant staff.
